FUNDRAISING WEEKEND A SUCCESS!

On January 14th we held our 5th annual DEAKSTOCK in support of disabled Armed Service members. Including the money raised on the cruise with the help of CruiseOne we donated $4400. In all our total raised for the Vets is now close to $80,000 over the past 5 years. The next day we also helped to raise $2875 for the Legacy School. Thanks to everybody in the Rogue Army for steadfastly deciding to help their fellow man.

SHOGUN FIGHTS V - 1ST MARINER ARENA

On October 8 the ROGUES proudly appeared at Shogun Fights V (www.shogunfights.com). This event featured top Mixed Martial Arts talent and some of the best MMA fighters around. The ROGUES piped Ground Control fighter, Ryan McGowan, into the ring. He won his fight in the first round. GREAT STORY FROM THE U.S. ARMY!

It's nearly 3:00 AM in Iraq. While the people in town sleep Sgt. John Cangelosi of the U.S. Army Psychological Operations Unit -- PSYOPS -- is awaiting orders. Around him in the darkness are members of various other units involved in the impending raid -- U.S. Marines and Special Forces including Navy SEALs. They have gathered in this place to apprehend several high-value targets that pose a threat to U.S. security. Sgt. Cangelosi is ready to do his part. Attached to the side of his Humvee are 3000 Watt speakers; at his fingertips the controls of a powerful weapon. At precisely 3:00 AM John flips the switch and for what must seem like an eternity the speakers blast a sound so frightening to the residents of the town they pour from their homes with their hands held high. The targets are all captured without a single shot being fired. The sound coming from the speakers... music by the Rogues. This a true story and we're proud to have done our small part. HONOR FLIGHT - OCTOBER 8, DULLES

The Rogues are proud to announce that they will once again be performing at an Honor Flight for WWII Vets. This time the Vets will be arriving at Dulles Airport at 9:45 AM. The band will then follow the Vets to various Veterans monuments.

"KILL THE IRISHMAN" HAS ARRIVED!

"Kill The Irishman", the major motion picture featuring music by the ROGUES, has just been released on Blu Ray and DVD. If you haven't seen it yet it's based on the true story of Danny Greene who fought the Italian Mafia and was seen as a hero by many... kind of a real-life Boondock Saint. The movie stars Christopher Walken, Ray Stevenson, Val Kilmer, and Vinnie Jones.

"ROGUES ON THE RHODE" A SUCCESS!

May 28/2011 -- Thanks to the hard work of a lot of really good people, particularly Bruce and Tonya Redekop of the Canadian Armed Forces, nearly $50,000 was raised for the wounded heroes of Ward 57 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Once again the Rogues were proud to do their part. Including our DEAKSTOCK fundraisers the Rogues have now helped to raise $75,000 for Veterans in need.

GUANTANAMO BAY ROCKED!

The band just returned from one of our best gigs ever! We spent a couple of days in GTMO and everybody there was fantastic. After we played our stage show we stormed O'Kelly's, the "Only Irish Pub on Communist Soil". We made a lot of new friends. Special thanks to Amiee and Sarah with MWR. Watch the video!

The ROGUES have just won Album and Group of the Year at the Ren Fest awards. Thanks again to all of the Rogue Army faithful who voted for us... you're the best!

STANDING OVATION IN CHICAGO!

The ROGUES were very warmly received at Celtic Fest Chicago when the audience cheered and rose to its feet at the end of their set. Fans even lined up to get autographs and pictures with the band after the show. Check out the Pritzker Pavilion stage! Beautiful! The band can't wait to return to the Windy City.
