As a full-time piper Ewan has spent the past ten years performing on international stages, living his dream as a professional musician. Ewan has been called “the secret weapon” of Celtic musicians, enhancing the music with his piping and vocals and demonstrating the ability to pull many instruments out of his bag of tricks. But the icing on this cake is Ewan’s stage presence. Always with a smile, Ewan just loves playing and interacting with the crowd. Ewan’s energy and love for his music are apparent at every performance. His personality overflows to the audience, leaving a lasting impression. Singing and harmonizing is another of his favorite past times. Ewan has been in many bands and choirs for his vocal talents, and extensive vocal range. Ewan has performed everything from classical and Broadway to country, folk, and now Celtic.
As well as playing with the Bhoys and the Rogues, Ewan has been able to spend some time doing his own thing recording some of his original songs, traditional Celtic tunes and some kick-ass piping. Being the multi-instrumentalist that he is, Ewan was able to lay down all the tracks himself, leading to his solo CD title "ALL BY MY LONESOME", which is gaining recognition across the U.S. air waves.
